YOT Inspection Report
Bradford YOT has been described as having committed staff dedicated to providing better outcomes for young people by inspectors.

The multi-agency inspection team from Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Probation, said that the “Youth Offending Team has a committed staff group and management team, and strengths in its partnerships and the range of interventions that it provides.”

Although the inspection took place in November 2010, the report was not officially published until February 2, 2011.

Coun. Ralph Berry, Executive Member for Children and Young People’s Services, said: “I am very pleased with the result of this inspection which indicates the strength of the work done by staff at the multi-agency Youth Offending Team to help young offenders realise what they have done, how they have harmed victims and communities and to help them stop offending."

The inspectors were particularly impressed with the way the team worked together to share information about languages and cultures, their positive relationships with community-based organisations, and they way they continually sought the young people’s views.
