The annual Showcase Events (the fifth was held in November 2009) feature young people performing dance, music, poetry and demonstrating their achievements at the Alhambra theatre in Bradford. The young people are working with a range of arts, media and inclusion projects across the Bradford District.

The Showcase is sponsored by the Bradford Youth Offending team. Several local projects contribute to the successful event. Many of the young people taking part are not offenders but enjoy the opportunity to show off their talents and usually rise to the occasion!

“Now in our fifth year our ‘Showcase’ event has proved another success. Once again It demonstrates what those of us working with young people every day know to be true - they have tremendous potential, only requiring opportunities and encouragement to see it fulfilled. We have seen new work from young people with real talent supported by committed staff and volunteers from a variety of partners across the Bradford District. Again, my thanks go to all the young people who took part in the event and to everyone who continues to support to the work of the Bradford YOT.”
