Bradford YOT
Volunteer Awards 2011 inc. The Arthur GoffOutstanding Bradford Volunteer Award 2011
This award was established in 2009 to honour the memory of the outstanding contribution made by Arthur Goff (who passed away in August 2008).
The continuing commitment and achievements of the many volunteers who help Bradford YOT as panel members,
appropriate adults and mentors was recognised at an Award Ceremony held on 23rd March 2011 in the Banqueting Suite
at Bradford City Hall. The awards were presented by the Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Peter Hill. The 'Arthur Goff
Award’, was awarded to Ian Greenwood (left, below) for his outstanding volunteering contribution.

Outstanding Bradford Volunteer Award 2009
The inaugural award was presented by his wife Mrs
Goff and the High Sheriff of West Yorkshire to Carol
Grice (centre) for her contribution and commitment
to young people.

Bradford YOT has many volunteers who
work with young people in a variety of settings.
The work of two, Odelle Bates (left) - Volunteer of
the Year and Deborah Leyland (centre) - Outstanding
contribution to engaging local communities, was
recognised in the 2007 Volunteer of the Year Awards
sponsored by the West Yorkshire Criminal Justice
Board.
